March is the month that we celebrate 
Dr. Suess's birthday and along with that the love for reading.  Children love to read and to be read to, and research has shown that reading to children at a young age provides them with the fundamental skills that they need for success in school.  We encourage parents to take a few minutes out of their day and come read a Dr. Suess story to the children in their child's class.  This is a very special treat for the children.  If you would like to come read a story to the children, please arrange a time with your child's teacher.

We will also be sending home the Spring Scholastic Book Order to encourage literacy both at home and at school.  Books make great accents to Easter Baskets!  You can view the books and place your order online by going to clubs.scholastic.com and entering our school code (NN7CM).  All orders must be placed by 3/16/2026 so that we can ensure the books arrive before Easter.  

We will take Spring/Class pictures on Wednesday, March 25th.  Please bring your child to have their picture taken before you bring them to class.  Once all of the individual pictures have been taken, we will take Class Pictures.  We will send out a link for you to view and order photos as soon as they are available.
