Our Philosophy
Imagination Station Childcare and Learning Center, L.L.C. would like to revolutionize the way we provide for our children. We believe that children should be valued for their imaginations and curiosity, their views of the world around them, and their love to play. We believe that families should be valued for the special bonds they share, their love to play, their commitment to home and work, and the dreams they have for their children. We believe that our staff should be valued for their vision, their skills, their heart, their knowledge, their delight in children, and their commitment to families.
We view childcare as a chance for children to develop a sense of independence as well as build important relationship skills, but the benefits can be extended to parents as well. We would like our parents to have a more active role in the childcare realm. Home and childcare are a young child’s two most important worlds. The child must bridge these two worlds everyday. Thus, if home and childcare are connected in positive and respectful ways, the child will feel secure. When we care for children, we are caring for the entire family.
We believe that children have unique needs and styles of learning. When your child joins our center, our curriculum will be adjusted to ensure that all of your child’s needs are being met. We strive to provide an environment that respects the various developmental stages each child passes through. As our name suggests, we believe that enhancing a child’s imagination provides them with the key to experiencing the world around them. Children learn through discovery and exploration; therefore, what better way to discover the world than to explore it with our imaginations.
Academic Development: We offer a child centered program with special emphasis placed upon building strong language and thinking skills, phonics-based reading readiness, meaningful and concrete math understandings, and fine motor skills development to facilitate real writing skills. Our program is centered on high moral standards which seek to encourage self worth and respectability. We strive to maintain a nurturing staff who will work with your child in a caring and consistent way. We will supplement our core curriculum with music and computer activities.
Physical Development: Children enjoy regular opportunities for vigorous play and to develop gross motor skills during playground time and creative movement exercises. We will offer daily nutritious meals and snacks, included in the regular tuition, that foster good eating habits for growing bodies.
We would like for Imagination Station Childcare and Learning Center, L.L.C. to be considered your child’s home away from home.
